Over the weekend of January 30 and 31, the Belgium nature conservation organisation Natagora organised a volunteer bird survey, “guess who comes to eat in the garden.”
Volunteers are invited to count the birds that visit their gardens for at least one hour during this time and submit their findings through the Natagora website. The data provided is used to learn more about the bird population and protect them. The exercise is also an opportunity to learn about bird identification in the garden and observe their lifestyle.
