Description:
A very old variety first introduced from New Zealand. Known as an ‘Apple Cucumber’ as each fruit is the size of a small apple. Delicious pale round fruit grow like regular cucumbers. Pick when 9-12cm in diameter. Best flavour while young at about 5cm. Grow outside, up a tripod of canes or on the ground. Vigorous climbing variety up to 3 metres long. Grows well from soil or in containers.
